Eat your greens

As momma's, we all struggle at some point with getting our kids to eat veggies! Am I right, or am I right? While I am no pro at getting my kids to eat all the veggies all the time, I wanted to share just a few tricks and ways to sneak veggies into your kids day. 

  • Add them to marinara or a sauce. Whether you are making pizza, spaghetti, mac and cheese, or something else, sauce is a great way to blend up veggies without them even knowing!

  • Add them to a smoothie. Add spinach to any smoothie or toss in some cauliflower rice or avocado for extra creaminess.

  • Add them to muffins. Zucchini and carrots are common veggies you can add into delicious muffins!

  • Add them to fried rice. My kids love fried rice. I add in additional chopped veggies, mix in some chicken and some coconut aminos and they go to town!
